THE STORY OF FIRST LIGHT

The Lord gave me the name, “First Light”, while I was praying for the people of Islam. The Lord said, “Call it First Light!” When I asked Him why the Lord responded immediately by saying, “Before the sun and moon and the stars were created there was the First Light of Creation.” (Genesis 1:1-2)

Jesus was the First Light and is forever the Light of all men. That Light is also found in the book of Revelation. When the New Jerusalem comes down from heaven Rev.21:22-25) there will be no light other than the Glory that emanates from Jesus the Lamb. “When Muslims ask you,‘What is First Light?’, you will be able to share the Gospel with them by explaining the name.”

Since the inception of First Light we have ministered in many countries in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. By establishing the Light in the hearts and minds of many individuals we are seeing a new day dawn in places where Jesus has been rejected or unheard of for centuries. New church groups are forming and being established by a fresh new harvest of leadership.
